Selin Bernâ Çakıcı

Selin Bernâ Çakıcı was born in Amsterdam from a Caribbean mother and a Turkish father.

As a Royal Academy of Dance Licenced, Progressing Ballet Technique Licenced and a former student of both the Nationale Ballet Academy in Amsterdam and the Mimar Sinan conservatoire in Istanbul, Selin has an exquisite ear for music when teaching musicality. In addition she has an eye for detail when teaching artistry and knowledge when teaching classical ballet techniques. She finds that her knowledge and feeling for these three elements combined make her unique and a highly qualified teacher.

Selin’s mother is a former Latin dance teacher hence dance has been playing a major role in her life since her childhood.
